Lakeland Community College is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for a quality checkup visit by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Lakeland will host a quality checkup visit September 18-20, 2012, with a team representing the Commission. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation. Lakeland has been accredited by the Commission since 1973.
The public is invited to submit comments regarding the college:

The public may also submit comments on the Commission’s Web site at www.ncahlc.org. Comments must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution or its academic programs. Comments must be in writing and signed. Comments will not be treated as confidential. Complaints will not be considered third party comment. All comments must be received by August 17, 2012.
