Lakeland’s “QuickStart to College” program runs from Tue., April 30 through June 30 on the main campus, 7700 Clocktower Drive, 44094.

The QuickStart program is free and helps students prepare for Lakeland by taking math and English prep courses.

Participants will earn two credit hours toward a degree. Full scholarships are available. Students must have a GED or high school diploma to be eligible.

To register for the information session or to find out more, call 440-525-7452.

The program will meet two mornings per week for eight weeks. Benefits include:

· Refresh math and English skills in order to score higher on the required placement test for the college
· Learn how to take online classes through a hybrid online/seated math course
· Identify career interests
· Receive help with admissions and financial aid processes

The program is funded through an Ohio Learning Network grant.
